The purpose for creating my three cups drawing is to focus on the four basics of composition. They are the way your hold the paper: either vertically or horizontally, spacing, height of the bases, and proportion. I wanted to show the proportion of each of object to show the difference each of them had. I wanted to draw exactly what I saw and where everything was placed. I learned about the four basic compositions of drawing which helped me create the three cups drawing.
